In win for soccer player, Renwick schools to permit helpful games cooperation

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Renwick school region will permit understudies to take part with different schools in certain games it doesn’t have. The educational committee’s consistent choice to permit understudies to partake in agreeable games followed a circumstance including Garden Plain High School junior Sydney Puetz and her endeavor to play soccer for a non-public school in Wichita since that game isn’t presented in her region.

Puetz, a multi-sport competitor for Garden Plain, considered soccer to be a chance to help her resume for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Wichita Independent consented to let her join its soccer group since her school doesn’t have one.

The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) had previously supported the move, however Renwick Schools at first wouldn’t allow Puetz to contend outside area lines prior to turning around that choice recently.
